The
MediaBrick comes in two models, the MediaBrick-black shown here and
the MediaBrick-silver. Both units can be configured
to meet a wide variety of applications. Both can operate "stand
alone" with no mouse, keyboard, SVGA monitor, CD-ROM, or floppy
drive, doing only what you program them to. Such as run a
real-time video channel from the hard drive and updated via LAN.
The front has two USB ports,
Firewire port, and
audio line in and microphone input too, as well as the power button along with the power and hard drive LED's.
On the
rear,
we see the on-board multimedia and data ports as well as the
power socket You have on-board 10/100 LAN as well as 1394 FireWire, two more USB plus
S-Video and Composite outputs if you want to hook up a TV or
Cable channel output too. For something so small, it is very
well featured indeed. Its
compact size allows for total portability and countless
uses—it can even be powered through a 12VDC cigarette lighter
(if using the available adapter accessory).
This
is a a sleek new multimedia PC platform, the smallest multimedia

Optional Software
SCALA
InfoChannel Designer Multimedia on-air presentation system. This
program provides on-air control of all multimedia functions, including video effects. Can be
controlled via GPI trigger, keyboard or mouse input.
Timeline event control, effects
control, and content control can all be done from the main screen while
forward, reverse, and skip controls can be done via GPI or remote serial
RS232. ICD200 is an all-in-one
package that performs the functions of a character generator, still-store, video store,
and audio clip player all in one.
